GIVEINDIA FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE 2021

A unique opportunity for you to fundraise for your city or your ignite center and your students at Bhumi. 

As a champion for education, when you go out and ask for money, speaking passionately will make people listen willingly. As someone who volunteers and knows Bhumi best, there can be no greater ambassador! 

This fundraising challenge is an opportunity for every volunteer & chapter team to raise funds for the education programmes for our beneficiaries.  

Give India is conducting the Give India Fundraising challenge until March 28, 2021. Bonus funds will be available to all qualifying fundraisers and top fundraising teams

Process: 

Bhumians are encouraged to create fundraising links and  raise funds for their corresponding programme/ center.

You can raise funds towards any programme expenses

  • annual expenses of conducting education programmes.
  • expenses towards organising events eg. Tree plantation,  Nakshatra, field trips, celebrations at the centres, etc. 
  • scholarships for the children passing out of the shelter to study further.

The funds raised will be displayed on an internal leaderboard  ( find below) updated daily.

Following bonuses rewards & will be available. Watch out for other surprises

Matching Funds – Bonuses: 

Each qualifying fundraiser will receive additional matching funds of 10% from the Give India Prize Money. There will be no limits. i.e. If Rs.20,000/- is raised on a link, there will be Rs.2,000/- in  bonus funds.

Qualifying Fundraiser

Every volunteer can create an individual fundraising link. The Volunteer should raise a minimum of Rs.10,000/- from at least 10 donors by March 28, 2021 to become a qualifying fundraiser. 

Matching Funds – Centre Rewards: 

The top qualifying centres will receive the following rewards from the Give India Prize Money

  1. Centre with highest funds raised: Rs.30,000/- 
  2. Centre with the second highest funds raised: Rs.20,000/- 
  3. Centre with the third highest funds raised: Rs.10,000/- 

Qualifying Centre: Should have minimum three unique qualifying fundraising links

Why do we have a qualifying expectation:

  • This reward is meant to encourage team work.
  • The rewards can be used for any programme that needs money at the winning centre.
  • Individual fundraisers have bonuses, rewards are for team work.
  • If less than four teams qualify, the number of prizes available will be one less than the total qualifying teams.

Matching Funds – Chapter Rewards: 

The top qualifying chapters will receive the following rewards from the Give India Prize Money

  1. Mega Reward for chapter: Rs.1,00,000/-
  2. Chapter with highest funds raised: Rs.50,000/- 
  3. Chapter with the second highest funds raised: Rs.40,000/- 
  4. Chapter with the third highest funds raised: Rs.30,000/- 

Qualifying Chapter: Should have minimum ten unique qualifying fundraising links

Mega Reward qualifier: Should have minimum twenty unique qualifying fundraising links

Why do we have a qualifying expectation:

  • This reward is meant to encourage team work.
  • The rewards can be used for any programme needed at the winning chapter.
  • Individual fundraisers have bonuses, rewards are for team work.
  • If less than four chapter teams qualify, the number of prizes available will be one less than the total qualifying teams. 
  • There will be only one mega reward. If a chapter wins the mega reward, the first three prizes will be among the other qualifying chapters.
