I like teaching and I take active part in social activities which I feel will bring changes in our society and country.
How did volunteering with Bhumi happen?
I heard about Bhumi through one of my friends and I joined eagerly in the IGNITE project Little Einstein Science. Later, I also volunteered in Refresh and Catalyse.
Share your experience in the ‘Ride for a Cause’ event that you have been actively participating in.
I have always been energetic. I was also already interested in Cycling. When there was a cause to riding, it was more reason to do what I already loved doing.
What change did these experiences bring in your life? How has Bhumi altered you, personally?
I am happy to volunteer with Bhumi as I realized I cannot bring about the change I need to see in this society on my own. I am now part of like-minded group of people whose thoughts and actions are mutual.
Tell us about one Bhumian, who has been an inspiration.
Dinesh has been a huge inspiration to me.
Any specific, special moment with kids or volunteers you would like to share with us?
I have been with Bhumi since 2016 and from being in three different projects, I have loved the company of kids more than anything. Their curiosity and involvement in learning has always been my motivation to go to classes again. They have asked questions which kindle me to increase my knowledge too.
A message to every volunteer at Bhumi:
“Volunteers have the power to change the world together.
