Job Designation: Lead – Recruitment and HR
Location: Chennai
Job Nature: Permanent Full-time

The person will take on the responsibility for all recruitment and assisting with any HR related aspects. They will be required to assist with HR related tasks communications and follow-ups for the COO. He/she will collaborate and work alongside existing employees, interns and volunteers in completing the assigned responsibilities.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Prepare and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges etc
  • Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media etc
  • Screen candidate resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, experience and aptitude
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
  • Monitor and apply best practices in HR recruitment
  • Provide well documented, analytical reports on the status of recruitment
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promote organisation’s reputation as “best place to work”
  • Should be able to manage and coordinate a team of HR interns assisting with recruiting

Education Qualification / Experience:

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Graduate or Post graduate in Human Resources Management (preferred)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge in MS office packages including Excel
  • Resourceful, responsible and self-starting
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc)
  • Ability to organize skills assessment
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Effective coordination abilities to coordinate with recruiting team

Other Information:

  • Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer
  • Expected Age: Below 35
  • Scope: Full time
  • Remuneration: Rs.2 Lakhs to Rs.2.4 Lakhs per annum based on the candidate’s profile
  • Expected Joining Date: Immediate
