Job Title: Manager – Employee HR

Location: Chennai

Job nature: Permanent, Full-time

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • managing recruitment of employees end to end in coordination with functional managers
  • establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing process
  • managing and driving the goal setting and appraisal for all employees along with functional managers
  • implementing employee benefits programs and engagement activities
  • managing monthly payroll for all full-time and part-time employees
  • managing and ensuring compliance of all legal and statutory aspects for employees and Organisation.
  • preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • maintaining human resource records by keeping past and current records
  • grievance redressal for employees
  • facilitating and coordinating on-boarding of all employees
  • guiding and driving Training and Development of all employees in consultation with functional employees
  • obtain Compensation Data of similar Organisation by participating in Compensation & Benefit Survey


Secondary/Supporting responsibilities include:

  • Support operations team in planning and executing their goals
  • Review Training Effectiveness
  • Prepare Monthly MIS on HR Budget, Training Man-days, Recruitment, and Attrition etc.
  • Follow-up for Confirmation of probationary employees



  • Education Qualification: Non Engineering Graduate with Post Graduation in Human Resources Management / Labour Management
  • Work experience: Minimum 4 years experience in HR – Generalist role


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – English (Optional: Tamil and Hindi)
  • Reasonable computer skills – MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint – Essential
  • People management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle HR – Generalist Functions independently


Other Information:

  • Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer
  • Expected Age: Below 30 years
  • Scope: Full time
  • Remuneration: Yearly CTC – Rs.3,25,000 to Rs.4,00,000
