Our work is possible only when we can reach as many shelter homes across the country and implement our program with the help of our volunteers.
To scale this program and reach more children we are calling out to you, join us in our movement & refer shelter home/homes you know. Help us bringing educational equality in India, by improving learning outcomes for more children.
*Shelter homes are designed to provide safe spaces to children at risk, up to the age of 18. These children could be orphans, children with one parent from low-income backgrounds, trafficked, or victims of abuse.
Shelter homes are also called Child Care Institutions. The Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act defines a child care institution (CCI) as: “Children’s home, open shelter, observation home, special home, place of safety, specialised adoption agency and a fit facility recognised under this Act for providing care and protection to children, who are in need of such services.
These homes can be state run, private under or semi government. If you know any space falling in these categories kindly refer them here. For any queries or clarifications, you can write to us at [email protected]
