Bhumi Fundraising  Challenge

A unique opportunity for you to fundraise for your city or your ignite center and your students at Bhumi.
As a champion for education, when you go out and ask for money, speaking passionately will make people listen willingly. As someone who volunteers and knows Bhumi best, there can be no greater ambassador!
This fundraising challenge is an opportunity for every volunteer & chapter team to raise funds for the education programmes for our beneficiaries.
Give India is conducting the 100 Heroes with an opportunity to win matching rewards on the donations you bring in between October 2nd – November 21st, 2021. Bonus funds will be available to all qualifying fundraisers and top fundraising teams

Process:

Bhumians are encouraged to create fundraising links and raise funds for their corresponding programme/ center.
You can raise funds towards
  • education of children
  • sponsoring children to attend Nakshatra
  • Scholarships for students from families affected by COVID
  • Festival celebration in children’s homes  – Diwali / Christmas / New year / Children’s Day
  • fulfilling small wishes of children – Joy to the world
  • Supporting children in shelter homes with computers for online classes
  • planting tree saplings or cleanup
  • Bhumi overall
  • your chapter

Following bonuses/rewards will be available.

Watch out for other surprises!

Each qualifying fundraiser will receive additional matching funds of 10% from the Give India Prize Money. There will be no limits. i.e. If Rs.20,000/- is raised on a link, there will be Rs.2,000/- in  bonus funds.

Qualifying Fundraiser

Every volunteer can create an individual fundraising link. The Volunteer should raise a minimum of Rs.10,000/- from at least 10 donors by Nov 20, 2021 to become a qualifying fundraiser. 

The top qualifying centres will receive the following rewards from the Give India Prize Money

  1. Centre with highest funds raised: Rs.30,000/- 
  2. Centre with the second highest funds raised: Rs.20,000/- 
  3. Centre with the third highest funds raised: Rs.10,000/- 

Qualifying Centre: Should have minimum three unique qualifying fundraising links

Why do we have a qualifying expectation:

  • This reward is meant to encourage team work.
  • The rewards can be used for any programme that needs money at the winning centre.
  • Individual fundraisers have bonuses, rewards are for team work.
  • If less than four teams qualify, the number of prizes available will be one less than the total qualifying teams.
