The VOLSHIP Volunteer Leadership Fellowship is a tailored 12-week journey that nurtures young individuals to design, ideate, and drive volunteer-based Social Solutions that create lasting and sustainable impacts.

This YuWaah (Generation Unlimited) at UNICEF certified Fellowship, ooffers a unique opportunity for participants to complete Volship and start your OWN NGO, establish a Bhumi Club, pursue Leadership in Social Sector or expand your career in leadership to the most extensive Social Impact the country has ever experienced.

Joining Volship means you’re already one step closer to making a change. Design and implement an impactful project plan to tackle pressing social issues in your city, that you are passionate about. Dive into 12 action-packed weeks where you will mobilise 75 volunteers shaping real community impact with our continuous support and resources.

You are now part of an experience where you can network, have jamming sessions, attend masterclasses by experts, and polish your leadership skills.

Can spend 8 hours/ week for the Fellowship

Volship is India’s Largest Volunteer Leadership Fellowship is a 12-week Fellowship designed to empower youth to lead impactful social projects in their cities. It provides training, mentorship, and resources to help you create and sustain social enterprises that address important social challenges.

Once accepted, you can expect 12 weeks of intensive training, mentorship, and practical experience to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to create and sustain social enterprises that address pressing social challenges.

The Volship Volunteer Leadership Fellowship is an unpaid opportunity. It is a volunteer-based Fellowship aimed at fostering social entrepreneurship and empowering youth to make a positive impact on pressing social challenges.

Participants are expected to commit approximately 8 hours per week to the Volship Fellowship. The schedule is designed to be flexible, allowing you to balance your participation with other commitments and responsibilities.

While there are no strict qualifications or specific prior experiences required, a passion for social entrepreneurship and a dedication to creating positive social change are highly valued. The fellowship welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Participants in the Volship Fellowship receive a variety of support and resources, including mentorship from experienced social entrepreneurs, training sessions, access to relevant materials, and the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded peers. These resources are designed to help you succeed in your preferred social cause.

No, there is no cost to participate in the Volship Volunteer Leadership Fellowship. It is a free Fellowship aimed at providing valuable skills and knowledge to India’s next generation of Changemakers.

After completing the 12-week Fellowship, participants are encouraged to continue their journey through Bhumi Clubs. This will give you an opportunity to implement a longer impactful project, while leaving behind the legacy of having founded a Bhumi Club in your city.

No, the Volship Fellowship is currently limited to applicants residing within India. This limitation is due to the potential need for in-person volunteering and participation in certain program activities. We appreciate your interest, but we are unable to accept international applicants at this time.

Yes, there is an age restriction for the Volship Fellowship. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 29 to be eligible to apply for the fellowship.
